[ANN] Release of plugin OpenID 1.0

Hi,

I'm pleased to announce the release of OpenID 1.0.

This is the first release and it enables user authentication and Single Sign-On via an OpenID provider.

Please note that Sonar 3.1 is required in order to use this plugin.

Hi,

This can be pretty interesting to use. Two questions:

- are Google Apps accounts supported?

- can I restrict access to allow only my company Google Apps users to log in? (i.e. only the users with @<company>.com e-mails)?

Hi,

Yes, Google Apps accounts are supported, but via the standard Google login form. As you mentioned, the limitation is that it's not possible to filter with a specific Google Apps domain. Redirecting to the Google Apps login form does not work.

The initial issue is that the Google discovery process is a bit different with Google Apps domains. It's badly supported by openid4java, the library that is used by the sonar plugin.
